Please review the following list of scholarship opportunities that will provide you, if eligible, with additional resources to help make your education more affordable.
The application process is open each fall from September 1st through December 15th and each spring from March 1st through June 15th.
The Work Ethic Scholarship Program is about recognizing people who understand the importance of work ethic, personal responsibility, delayed gratification, and a positive attitude. These are hardworking men and women who will keep the lights on, water running, and air flowing. These are people who show up early, stay late, and bust their butts day in and out. These are the people we want to reward.
The Perfecting The Craft scholarship is an annual $500 scholarship designed to help propel students to become masters of their craft. We hope to encourage students to genuinely reflect on what they want to provide the world and how they are working to build the necessary skills.
Regions Bank awards quarterly scholarships of $8,000 each to the student with the best video or written essay. The topic of students' written or video essays must be an individual they know personally who lives in their community; the essay must address how the individual has inspired the applicant and helped them build the confidence they need to achieve their goals.
The Palumbo Family Foundation is dedicated to making a meaningful impact in the Chicagoland area by providing scholarships to deserving students from lower-income families. These scholarships serve as a pathway for students to pursue higher education and achieve their dreams. Scholarships are available to a wide range of individuals, including high school seniors, GED recipients, undergraduate students (2-year or 4-year programs), and those enrolled in vocational or trade schools, as long as they meet the program's requirements.
The BBB Chicago Foundation is proud to announce our College Scholarship Video Program is open again! Four lucky students will earn $3,000 for educational expenses!
his contest is open to all eligible students residing in specific counties within BBB's service area in Chicago & Northern Illinois. The scholarship funds will be disbursed directly to the relevant academic institution for tuition purposes only. Video entries will be accepted from the beginning of January through the end of March.

The Organization for Autism Research’s scholarship program awards $3,000 scholarships to students across the autism spectrum. We are pleased to invite applications from persons with an autism diagnosis (DSM-IV or later criteria) pursuing full-time, post-secondary, education in any of the following: four-year undergraduate college or university, two-year undergraduate college, trade school, technical school, vocational school, or cooperative life skills program.
